New channel, same owner

When YouTube was still a separate entity from Google, I had created both a Google account and YouTube account with the same usernames.  This was fine until the accounts started being merged.  I clicked some links to try and do this but accidentally created a new YouTube account that was now permanently linked to my existing Google account.  I still had the old unlinked YouTube account and it still worked fine.  I tried to “fix” the problem by deleting the YouTube account linked my Google account with the result being that I lost the video I had uploaded to it and not being able to link my old YouTube account to the Google account.  Technology sucks.

Anyway, I’ve reopened the deleted YouTube account, the one that is linked to my Google account and will start posting to it, rather than the old one.  So, if you’re keen to stay informed of any changes to my new channel, be sure to subscribe to it.
