Demo at the Robocup Jr Dutch Finals

Laurens Valk and I did a Mindstorms NXT demo yesterday at the Dutch Robocup Jr Finals at the science museum Nemo in Amsterdam. I made a short video of our booth featuring our robots.

We had a couple of moving robots:

• Laurens’ front wheel drive jeep line follower from The Unofficial LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT 2.0 Inventor’s Guide
• 2 Segways (the one Laurens made and the HTWayby Gus)
• The HiTechnic wall follower
• The HiTechnic RC carwith Rotacaster wheels for extra drifting (which kids played with a LOT)
• A cool plotter, also from the above mentioned book.
• The PneumaSnatcher

We also had a couple of non-moving robots just for show. We were lucky in that our stand was right along the way to the actual competition rooms, so we had a LOT of people come by our stand to look and ask questions.

I had a real blast and so did Laurens.
