I thought it would be kind of fun to modify some of my program to make use of the Mindsensors TouchPanel sensor. Having buttons on the screen would make it a lot more intuitive to use. So here’s a first short video of a 3D button that you can press with the TouchPanel using a stylus. It’s not much yet, but the button is dynamically sized to the length of the string. I have a couple more ideas to make this into more of a framework type deal. Something to look for in a future release of the driver suite, I’m sure!
So clever! The shadowing is superb, intuitive, and visionary! This shall surely redefine NXT User Interfaces!
I call it the…iNXT.
I’m popping over to the store to get a black turtle neck shirt later.
:O You are God. I don’t care how much you charge, I’ll buy anything you make from now on!
(P.S. Don’t forget the blue Levi’s and red Converse!)
Hey, that is really neat. I have been wondering if it is possiable to do that. I plan on buying one but waiting till I finish up one of my other projects. Could I repost this video on my blog? blog.nxtroboticgadgets.com thanks in advnace
Sure, it’s not a problem. Would be nice if you could link back to the original article, though.
Thanks!
